About Dr. Lewin
Rachel Lewin was born and raised in a suburb northeast of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Physical Anthropology and minors in Chemistry and Studio Arts. After a brief return to Philadelphia following graduation, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University School of Dentistry. Following graduation she, her husband Corey, and their Goldendoodle August relocated to Nashville, TN to escape the Midwest winters. After spending a year and a half living, working, and exploring beautiful Tennessee, the trio decided to return to the Philadelphia area to begin the next chapters of their lives.
Dr. Lewin practices all aspects of General Dentistry. She is a member of the ADA & PDA, AGD & PAGD, and ASFO, and continues working towards clinical and professional excellence as well as her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) by diligently pursuing continuing dental education in all facets of the dental world. She takes particular pleasure in continuing to master CAD/CAM and CEREC technology, redesigning smiles with comprehensive rehabilitations, and developing herself and her dental support team in order to catalyze champions every day. Most recently, Dr. Lewin became a registered Invisalign Provider to help her patients wanting to straighten their teeth in a safe, unobtrusive way!
In her limited free time, she enjoys working out and continues to work with August, who is a trained Service Dog. She also enjoys hiking and paddleboarding with Corey and August when the weather is cooperative, daydreaming about returning to horseback riding, reading (often dental-related and/or personal & professional development literature these days), trying to keep her succulents alive, and doing yoga in the kitchen.
